Carlsbad, Ca. Flower Fields April, 2010

This past week I had the fortunate luck to go to the Ranunculi Flower Fields in Carlsbad. When you drive up to the area you can see the beginning of wonderful rows of color. On their website it says that they have 50 acres of flowers.  I have wanted & tried to go in the previous yrs but due to events & timing I just never made it during the right time of year.
We rode in the tractor wagon to get a better view of the long rows of colorful flowers. They even have a Sweet Pea Maze. Now that smelled wonderful!!! Here are some of my favorites from the adventure!

Then I started to play around with the zoom & slow shutter speed. Took lots to practice to get these, what do you think?
